About Us
Moya Transformation Facilitators was founded in 2004 by Dr Tineke Wulffers, initially to provide organisational coaching. It has since evolved to embrace a more specific focus on the development of systemic Authentic Leadership Effectiveness for individuals and teams, using a coaching approach.
Moya’s vision is to see a higher quality of positively effective organisational leadership both in South Africa and globally; for instance, leaders like Nelson Mandela left behind powerful legacies that others wish to emulate. Such profound leaders can navigate themselves and their followers not only in good weather, but also in stormy weather. This requires a strong internal moral leadership compass, which can be found in Authentic Leadership.
Moya’s two-fold purpose encompasses:
- Facilitating powerful journeys globally that allow for the development of individual and team authentic leadership effectiveness (ALE). For further information, click here to see Our Offerings.
- Disseminating theoretical knowledge of how such positive leadership effectiveness can be developed. For further information, click here to learn more About Moya Institute of ALE and click here to learn more about Dr Tineke Wulffers.

About our Founder
Dr Tineke Wulffers – Moya Founder, leadership coach and academic
Dr Tineke Wulffers divides her time between her practitioner and academic work. She is the director of the Moya Institute of Authentic Leadership Effectiveness. At times, her senior organisational leadership clients tell her that the organisational world can squeeze the self out of the self. In response, her passion is to facilitate the development of individual and team authentic leadership effectiveness for the greater good of not only themselves, but also their organisations and stakeholders. Her work allows leaders to enhance their leadership authenticity, inter-relational trust, and individual and team leadership effectiveness.
Tineke facilitates individual and team authentic leadership effectiveness and executive coaching journeys mainly at senior and executive organisational levels. She also facilitates, at times together with a co-coach, very powerful systemic team coaching journeys. She trains leaders how to use coaching in their interactions with others. She works with leaders in South Africa, Africa, Europe, the Middle and Far East, and the United States.
As an academic, she works at both Stellenbosch Business School (SA) and Henley Business School (UK) where she lectures, supervises and examines at post-graduate level. She obtained her PhD in Personal and Professional Leadership at the University of Johannesburg (SA) in 2014, and in 2009, she completed her Masters (cum laude) in Professional Coaching through Middlesex University (UK). She is the author of the book entitled Authentic Leadership Effectiveness for Individuals and Teams – A Coaching Approach, published by Knowledge Resources in 2017.
She is accredited as a Senior Coach Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), and holds membership with the International Leadership Association (ILA).
She currently lives and works mostly virtually from Kenton-on-Sea, a seaside village in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
